Need Help Guys Asap
i am really tight on funds now so i have decided take on the brake job myself, now i am a fairly avid DIY guy and when i did a search here based on most responses it should be a relatively easy job
now heres the deal,
WHAT ARE ALL THE TOOLS AND MATERIALS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS STUPID WARNING LIGHT COME OFF?

nah seriously, what will i need to get the job done?
pads?, rotors?, do i need to buy brake sensors???? and where do you reccomend that i order all the parts and tools???
please help, this is my daily driver so my last resort would be taking it to a shop which is what i am trying to avoid
and since this is my first MB i have no idea where to start or what to replace
also a few tips, pointers, and W210 brake job resources would be greatly appreciated!!
thanks guys
There are detailed DIY instructions and several threads that explain this well. You will need rotors, pads, 3 sensors, anti squeel compound, break parts cleaner.
Tools: Metric socket set, 5 (I think) and 7mm allen wrench or bit, flat head screwdriver, pliers and a breaker bar.
It should take you about two hours.
i would recommend you refinish the rotor surface. That's not DIY.
I agree with replacing the rotors unless they have less than 15k miles on them. And if they have that low mileage, it is not recommended to resurface them. This will only make the rotor thinner and more succeptable to warping from heat. Used rotors and new pads work fine together. The pads wear to the groove pattern of the rotor and can even be more effective in braking than new rotors. Most automotive manufacturers ceased recommending to resurface rotors many years ago (about 10 I think).
