New W210 E320 Owner
I've been driving VW/Audi for years and still currently in the scene but always wanted a W210. Just picked up my 98' E320 a couple of days ago. Plans are wheels and suspension.

Before you do that check the (problematic) suspension items on these. Bushings (front sway bar, rear outer CA) Ball joints, control arms. I believe on the earlier w210s the spring perches were vulnerable too.
Just a suggestion as I was unaware of them and couldn't feel the issues with the soft factory set up. As soon as I changed the wheels and tires the issues became very evident. Other than that the engine and transmission if cared for will do very well. A few other niggles, but overall not a bad car.
