I decide to buy another MB. There's many choice of MB right now for me. Which one is better ? Please advise. Thanks.

1. MB W210 E320 V6 engine (Used one)
2. MB W211 E200 Kompressor 4 cylinder inline engine (New)
3. MB W203 C180 Kompressor 4 Cylinder inline engine (New)
4. MB W203 C240 V6 engine. (New)

 

benz_ride, you're really not giving us much information on making the choice.

Firstly you're comparing two different classes of cars here and it really depends on what you wanna do with it.

In terms of performance, the E200K wouldn't come close to the E320. The V6 E320 should also be a lot smoother than the 200.

But if its just a nice shiney new car you want and you don't need to do a lot of highways or carry a full load...then maybe the W211. How old is the W210 BTW?

Whilst both the E's would be a lot roomier, as you will no doubt know, maybe if it is a second car you want (I see you have a large one already) then the C's might be a better choice if you're looking for for some "zippiness". If you're picking between the 180 and 240, the 240 is probably a better choice cuz its smoother and probably has a higher output.

Hope this makes some sense, in spite of the lack of info.

For W210, I prefer take on year 1998.
That's why I can't sell my first MB, because the price drop too high. I already spent more money to made my W124 looks better than first time I bought.

move to USA, buy a RL230 SL600 for the price you'd pay for a w211 E200 in indo.

 

No worries bud! If on a budget, the 98 W210 ain't bad and you'll get to join this happy family - you'll get lotsa help here Make sure you get one with an Advantgarde package so you'll have all the nicees the dudes in the US have to get aftermarket. Chances are, you'll save some rupees for mods and oh, dun forget to slam it till your muffler scrapes the ground like ya fella countrymen! Keep us posted on your decision.

 

hands down go for the new e-class ( I was in a similar situation, deciding between used e55, e430 sport, c32 or new e320 and i went with the 320 and am very happy with it) ...definately worth it imo even if it will be underpowered compared to a c or older e...

Hank, you're right, the price of E200K and other MB in Indonesia very unbelieveable. I must spend US$90,000.00 to get E200K. And US$100,000 to get E260, for E320 Advantgarde : US$165,000.00. For SL600 price around US$300,000.00
I want move to USA, but there's no lucky for me to get Green Card. I try many times through Lottery, but no change. Maybe next year or two more years.
