Roof Trim Sagged !

Roof Trim Sagged !
The roof trimming above my head started to sag a week ago..it was halfway through, and after leaving it in the hot sun for a meeting for about 3 hours, its completely sagged!
took it to the shop, they tried to glue it back, but to no avail..
They're going to replace the whole thing, probably with something thicker.
Wondering has anyone had this sagging problem before. It started happening after i put in the new tint. I was told this was a common problem for German cars (which i think is bollocks.. :P)

Nope, no probs here and at 141K miles, my headliner is as good as new. Tinting would not affect the headliner at all 
. The only thing that could affect it is heat and/or humidity. If you live in a very humid place, the heat and moisture in the air can affect the glue, therefore causing the headliner to sag. Also, never steam clean your headliner like some auto detailers do, that's asking for it.

The problem of being in subtropical climate I guess.

yep Whitey, I guesss so.. another unexpected amount of money spent on something which i could live without..
but it gets irritating when the tip of my hairs keeps rubbing on the trim..:/ anyways, will be picking up the car tommorow..saw the open engine block..must say it scared the **** out of me, but it looked like the guy knew what he was doing..will let you all know of the result tommorow...
as for the trim, they'll be preparing a new one, with a slightly thicker backing for it to be glue back on..just a big waste..
