Windshield Nozzles hose connection problem.

Newbe here....I just bought a 2000 E430 4Matic 114k... when trying to wash windshield discovered just leaking badly like the hose is cracked or something, causing lack of pressure on the passenger side. When hood is open there are two access covers for nozzles that I don't want to break trying to open. There seems to be a couple little latches of sorts I'm not familiar. Can someone please help with access?

They just pull off from the front edge. If it gets cold where you are ice can force the tube off the nozzles.

I did get it fixed but broke the plastic that holds it in place.. I rigged it for now.
