Mighty Vac Oil change...great!
I've been paying my indie $89 for an oil change on my 2002 e430. I decided I would rather do it myself and bought a Mighty Vac for about $100 on Amazon. (The indie filter was made in China!)
Went to Wal Mart, got 2, 5-Quart jugs of Mobil 0-40 for $25 each and ordered a MB oil filter on amazon along with an air filter. Came home opened the boxes, and 45 minutes later I had changed out 8 quarts of oil, refilled the oil and changed out the air and oil filter.
Just sharing my experience. I'd recommend the Mighty Vac. Now I KNOW it's an MB filter, Mobil 1 oil and I made sure to replace the rubber rings on the filter-stem. Saved about $20 and will use the Mighty Vac for my lawnmower, ATV and my brother-in-law already wants to borrow it. It will surely pay for itself soon.
Anyone else using the suction method?

I did for years, but last summer a friend did borrow my Mityvac and stop returning my calls ![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I bought electric pump on Amazon for less than $30.
Usually I stay away from complicated gizmos as they too often fail 1/2 into the job, but did like the pump working off 12V in the car, while I could do other task.
Sure takes much less space than Mityvac.
My garbage CO supply oil recycling containers, so I don't have to worry about that.
As always in life, each job can be done in several ways.
Each way has its good and bad part, but thank God for the choices.
