Mystery Vacuum line
Today I was servicing the AC on my car. In the compartment where the duo valve is located there is a grey vacuum line which is not connected to anything. The line is live. What is the purpose of this line? Is it a calibrated leak?

Search. Addressed multiple times. That vacuum line actuates the flapper valves of the environmental system under the dash.
Find both ends of the grey line, cut out the junction connection that usually breaks, and use a piece of rubber vacuum line to splice the hard lines together.
