Tried searching for this and couldn't come up with an answer. Can someone tell me what size torx socket I need to remove my CPS from my 2000, E430? I left my set at my other house, 1100 miles away, and I need to go buy a single socket to replace the CPS. Thanks!

Socket would make it E wrench, when I believe you need T15
Size might change from model to model, so I would invest $7 in whole set. You will always find it handy again.

wise grip, or cutting a notch with hack saw works in emergency.

More mis information in post 2 there is no direct size correlation from external E type to internal T type---however buying a cheap harbor freight T bit set(internal) plus a long extension will do the job!!

Evidently Plutoe never work on one, but on V8 engines top access can be impossible and then you need to go via wheel well.
Again, each model can be different and I never owned E430.

E8, 1/4 drive with a small extension did the trick, thanks for your replies.
