I purchased my 01 E430 4matic from non-MB dealer and am thinking about getting an extended warranty.

Can I get MB's starmark warranty even if I didn't buy my car from MB dealer?

If not, any recommendations on extended warranty?

i believe the only way to buy the starmark warranty on a pre-owned benz is from a benz dealer. Whatever extended warranty you decide to go with, stay AWAY from the Heritage one. I had nothing but hassles with them, so i ended up cancelling them after a year because they wouldn't cover anything.
