I bought from Warranty Direct last June '03 with a $100 deductible. So far they have fixed my A/C, rear right power window motor and a broken side mirror with no hassle. Seems to be a decent company so far. I got the Exclusionary warranty for about $2100 or so for 4 yrs or up to 75K miles, whichever comes first. I started with only 45K miles on my '99 E430. The clincher was that they are licensed in Florida.

Hope this helps.

I remember when I was posting for warranties, I got very little response from people. Check my previous postings under my user name clco.

dealer recomends Millinnium Warranty

Called my service rep over at Beverly Hills MB and asked about extended warranties. He said they are selling a warranty similar to starmark "Millinnium warranty". Its bumper to bumper for 4 years and 75k. It covers from radio to engine. It has a deductable of 200, but he said, they can cover that on most major jobs. The only thing is its price, $3,100. What do you guys think? Its not that I cant afford it, its just that, I could use it to buy a new w211. My car (2k E320) only has 28k miles, mods worth 10k. I just cant let it go! Now Im confused if I should buy a new car and start over or keep what I have.

I'd keep what you have for another year or 2 and the warranty is refundable minus any claims & time used I'm sure. In 2 years there will be a new body style and then spend your moneyfor an even higher upgrade. I went from a Honda civid for 8 years to a '99 E430. The next car will hopefully be at least a E500 or better yet an S55. It's just like my house, I went from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 4 bedroom house with a pool. Wait until you can make a serious upgrade, otherwise you get stuck in a certain class.

I receive a similar info/quote by my finance director @ Calabasas Motorcars in regards to the "Millennum Wararnty"...approx. 10K left on my warranty and I'm also debating whether to upgrade to the W211. A silver E55 at Keyes European is fetching for $90K seems a bit outrageous in price...An E500 w/ a Kleemann may seem to be a better bargain. I too invested $$$ in mods...were always on the losing end when it comes to value play.

BTW: How do you like the W211 projector headlamps?? Are they Halogen or HID? I have no complaints, they certainly attract attention.

A friend of mine, 48,000 on a 2001 C-class, this week purchased bumper-to-bumper coverage from Triple A. It took her out to 100K for something like $2500.

Sounded like a fair price, its accepted by MB Sealerships and has only a $100 deductable.

You would think AAA would not sell a bumb warranty.
