The headlight bulb socket is located behind the front thingamajig housing and in front of the whatchamacallit cover plate. Don't forget to use a 7mm thingamajig and 9mm whatchamachallit tool!

 

ccc. I need the new one to replace the old one..old one is burn out. they tell me can only replace the Socket if u buy the all light set.is cost more then $200. me try to find the aftermarket parts, but no same socket. please info me where i can buy the new Headlight Bulb Socket. thank u agin..

 

Oh, now I get your question. Where can you 'buy' a headlamp bulb socket? I am glad you clarified it. Thanks for being a good sport about the harmless kidding from me and makavelli.

I doubt that you can purchase just the socket except from a used auto parts place or a junk yard. If you have halogen bulbs you need a H7 bulb socket. I guess any junk car that uses a H7 bulb will due. Another good place to look - the trash bins of a Mercedes dealer Body Shop. Good Luck!

This is nothing more than a standard H7 socket with thicker gauge wires.

If you are really in a bind, for go the socket and use 2, 1/4" female, solderless, crimp on connectors. They will push right on to the H7 bulb.

I go to dealer, they don't want to sale me the sockets only..they only sale all light set..

 

Are those sockets much different from the ones in the rear? I have to change my parking light bulb and will find ask them if they sell the sockets only.
