Lightbulb E-Klasse Question :)

Sorry to post this with your name in the post.

Just looked at your link to pictures of your W210.

You have a koooooooool Modified W210.

Questions:

1. Where did you get the wood grain door handles, and how much were they?

2. the steering wheel has wood. How did you do that. Is it an add-on or a replaced steering?

3. For sideview mirror blinkers, did you have to have them painted?

4. The shifter knob on my 87 e420 is all leather. Is that a mod too that you have? where did you get that, and for how much.

pardon me for bombarding you with questions......but you inspire me!

thank you!

Thanks for checking out my pics. I do try to update them after each mod. The wood trim inside is from a number of places. The door handles are from Germany and I got them on the German version of ebay www.ebay.de but I have seen them on other web pages devoted to Mercedes accessories for $200 to $400 a set. Performance Products has the steering wheel and the shift knob or you can find them both on ebay from time to time. The steering wheel is a direct swap. It just requires removing the airbag first. As for the side mirrors, they are the OEM 2000+ blinker mirrors that are painted to match the car unless you find a set with the same paint code as your car.
