Hey all. I have a pretty good oil leak on the rear passenger side of my '97 E320 (92,500 miles).
To me, it looks like it's coming out of the freeze plug, but I'm not a professional mechanic. It leaks all over the outside of the bell housing, then down to the exhaust so I get a nice white smoke when driving.
Here are some pictures of the plug and the leak. The oil is brown, so it's engine oil. While under the car I did notice some tranny fluid leaking, so I replaced the transmission adaptor plug.
