W210 stereo amp installation
I have a the Bose speakers as well as amp with wiring for my e430. I was wondering how to install the amp and which after market stereo I should purchase, I'm looking for one with a touch screen but I don't have navigation so it would have to fit in the single stereo slot. Thanks in advance

THAT is a huge question requiring a lot of mind reading. Only you know at this
point what features you want. I the absence of your wish list, head to the
Crutchfield web site and use their narrow down feature to identify which of
the items they sell. That will get you started.
bottom line: because of your Bose amp/speaker you need a replacement amp
which has a 4 volt minimum preamp output

Clarion makes a pretty nice setup for that. I had one in my car a few years back, and I really loved it.

To be honest though, you might be better off just getting your speakers refurbished, and just changing out the head unit. There's not a whole lot of 2 ohm speakers out there for replacements. I'm in the same situation with mine right now, and if you decide to go further than a head unit swap, you're looking at complete overhaul because of the 2 ohm speakers. Good luck!!
