Rust repair thread.

So unbelievably this is the only rust on the car. And this is a Midwest car! I've seen other MB's on Craigslist with rust on all the doors and around the wheel wells. How this car survived like this I don't know. But I'll take it. We scraped off all the rust and use DOM 16 (much better than POR 15). Well touch it up with body color when it's dry. We cleaned out all the leaves behind the fender. Not a lot, but enough to hold moisture.
We've been driving it and there are still a few things it needs. Left side motor mount, front sway bar bushings (knocking) and possibly a throttle sensor, The one by the brake booster. Whenever you give it more than 50% throttle it goes into "limp mode" so driving it normal it's just fine. But when you want to use the available power it acts up.
Otherwise it drives like a Benz should.
