Dude, here's a bit of nostalgia since it must be getting close to my anniversary here. Remember how we started out???? I was looking for a Carlsson bumper pic and you showed me one (that you kept telling me you'll have......but not the longest time, not until after I'd done my entire car!)! Turned out all that was available was the lip - used.......... the black stallion is just so hard to come by here........ Sob, sob!

BTW, anyone notice the SL had different wheels on both sides?

Yup yup, I remember...What do you mean by different wheels? I think I see the same wheels just different finishes. One side kinda looks chrome and the other with the brilliant finish, right? It reminds me of Jim's (JL88) SL that has 2 different styles of HRE's, one style on each side.

Yep, one's a superlite, and the other brilliant edition - i.e. one's got a diamond cut finish like mine, the other just polished (I think that's what they're called). Two different style wheels on a real car? mmmmmmmm......

Whilst on the nostalgia thing, strangely, topdeez emerges today.....you gave me a photo of his to show me the bumper! Scarey.......

But my lips a chromed and the spokes are diamond cut with clear coat....is that stuff OK for this application? I normally just use water and wash n' wax solution.....seems to work fine but yeah, the nooks and crannies are really hard to clean, even with a toothbrush.....especially the engraved lettering around the bolts...they're like a 1/4" deep!
