I bought the car with this problem disclosed. When I drive it and hits about 30mph, there is this clicking sound which gets louder the faster the car goes. Nothing wrong with the needle accuracy at all. I thought it might be a faulty speedo cable (it sounds as if the cable is loose) but was told that this car does not have a speedometer cable. Any ideas of what this could be?, Also what does a new cluster run?

Any Decent Speedo repair shop should be able to fix the problem
Look for a VDO repair shop...North Hollywood Speedo repair can do it Here in So Cal
