need some advice on my 99 E430
I have metallic tint on my car and it is all scratched up. What can be done to the door panels to stop them from scratching? Also the chrome off of one of my wheels has started chipping away. A local shop wants 150 to rechrome the wheel. Are there any other options out there? Also my car has about 3 months left before warranty is over, what things should i be looking out for?? My dealer is pretty cool on doing warranty work at my request, so Im looking to do some preventitive maintainence here.

Chrome on wheels is the most fragile wheel finish there is. Most chrome wheels need to be re-chromed after a couple years of use.

1999 MB E320
I had my 99 E320 inspected stem to stern just before the warranty expired. I asked the dealer to evaluate as if the car would be Starmarked. I think it cost a couple hundred bucks but it was worth the peace of mind.
