Non-responsive with light Acceleration

From a dead stop, when I try to accelerate SLOWLY, the car is very reluctant to respond. And once it does, it accelerates more than I really wanted. It seems like our throttle is designed such that u have to push past this dead travel "zone" until your car will actually know u want to move.

Anyone else have this problem?

Nope do not have this on my 01 E320 4Matic. Acceleration is positive and smooth regardless of amount of throttle application.

I have that problem with my brakes, but not with the accelerator.
