Cloning an E320 to an E55 AMG
I have an 01 E320 and found someone selling a full E55AMG interior at a fair price.
My question is regarding the front seats:
Can they be hooked up for power and most importantly heat.
Any one know?

within the realm of possibility, depending on the specific parts and money
you're willing to invest. may also require SDS or dealer intervention
p.s. the complexity of the upgrade will depend on how your
current seats are equipped...same for the new seats
OE retrofitting

i had a standard E320 RWD with heated seats. I now have Designo heated
and air bladder seats...no ventilation.

in case you're curious what is involved, this should give you an idea. I'm not
as familiar with what AMG seats are but I seem to recall that they had many
more individual cushions of support...firm yet extremely comfortable. i do not
recall that they were referred to as multicontour seats but there may be
similarities
