Thanks guys,
MBZ12: that may be what I need. I dont know about the oyster,
but its generally grey in color like the side of the cluster above. Thanks man.

Thanks for the compliments. I got the needles off ebay. I bought a faulty C class cluster off ebay for cheap and used the needles. Also got the chrome rings off ebay too. Small world eh, I just got the brabus steering, just like yours. Same grey color, but my wood is burl. Its nice and thick. From you pix, it looks like I am looking for the exact airbags that you have too, in about the same colour. From you write up, I gather they are called designo right?, ie the bag with the stitches. Where did you get them and roughly how much are they, if you dont mind. Thanks

I put the white needles on mine too when I installed the white face gauges. I put the chrome rings but they look much beter around the black faces. How secure are your chrome rings? My center one kept falling off so I removed them.

E-Klasse: My rings have not fallen off since I intalled them. They come with a glue-like paste at the back as you know-almost like plastercine. The only thing I did was I had to take off some of the glue because I did not want the excess squishing out at the edges when I pressed the rings into place and that was it.

The glue on mine dried out with it being so hot here in Arizona. In the summer it can get over 115 deg. on the outside of the car so no telling how hot it is inside. The chrome did not show up well against the white faces so I took them out. I never posted pics with them on. I picked up a set of the white gauge faces from NRAuto.com. Be sure and email them and say that you saw them on my car on MBWorld. They might give you a discount. They gave me $50 off just for mentioning this web page. I got the white needles off of a 99 C-Class sport cluster with the white gauges.
