I bet it is right hand drive?
Not too many W210 with cdi were produced and most of them were send to salty areas of UK, so to my knowledge most of them are on junk yards already.
Pictures?

Out Of Control!!
If I was looking at the car the first thing I would do is to do a DAS kurztest---then I would look at all the injector seals-----Then I would try to determine the last time the glow plugs were changed----then I would look at the drive shaft-----then when cold how does the car shift------then when hot how does the car shift!
and PS: watch for spammers knowing nothing about diesels

As I indicated above, it is the rust that kills those cars.
Start with spring perches.
Engines and transmissions are bulletproof and I did not hear that early cdi had black death issue.
