Question 97 E420 - Replace Wheels , W211 or W220 an Option?

Hello,

I have a 97 E420 with Monoblocks. Unfortunately, 3 of them are not true and I have a vibration. I'd like to buy a set of 4 rims to use as an alternative while I try to get the Monoblocks trued.

According to the seller, W211 wheels. 16x7.5

According to the seller, W220 wheels, 17x7.5

I found some nice looking used rims that are advertised as only working on the W211 and W220 series (see above).

Does anyone know if they will work on the W210?

Thanks.

try going over to the 211 forum and reading about the wheels. this is the 210 forum. but it
is my belief that the wheels you're contemplating uses larger wheel bolts and larger ball seat
than the 210

From W211 Bolt spacing works on them, but bolt holes are different and offset slightly change.
You might get away with offset without spacers if you don't care about the looks, but you will need to order custom bolts with R14 heads and 12mm threads
I think W220 has much bigger offset, so spacers might be required.

most if not all w211 wheels will work on w210s but as others have mentioned you will need different bolts.
