1998 w210 e300 turbodiesel "clunk" hard turn or over frost heave

Hi There
Proud owner of 1998 w210 E300 Turbodiesel
Occasional loud mechanical clunk in right front when encountering a heave in road at modest speed or when turning hard right at very slow speed.
Car is in excellent condition and well looked after with 145000 miles (I am original owner and purchased new)
My Indie is very conscientious and in my opinion competent
At first he thought it was right front wheel bearing which he repaired (not that but it drove better)
Then he thought shocks (they were original and a bit soft) so we replaced all 4. Much better ride but clunk remains
Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated

Many thanks

Suspension has lot of components that can develop the same symptoms.
How old are bushing on control arms?
When tracing loose bushing can be a nightmare, spraying with a lubricant one at the time helps in narrowing the trouble.
