W211 E500 Brembos on W210 E320

I can't find much info on these particular calipers, but will W211 E500 Brembos bolt onto a w210?

As far as I know they would have to be modified to fit. w203 C55 and w209 clk 500 calipers will bolt up.

The w209 CLK500 and w211 E500 calipers seem to have the same part number stamping of 20.7048.04

I can get the part number off of mine later this evening. There are other OEM brakes that will fit from CL500 and CLK 500 but they are smaller (330mm rotor vs 345mm) and require washers to line up properly.
More info

So I took a chance, here are w211 E500 calipers bolted on a w210 with w210 rotors and w211 e500 pads.

There is a small spot where the front of the caliper touches the rotor, it's where the outer bolts thread in and a slight gap on the bolt that holds the caliper on. I'm thinking a couple washers to take up the excess should help align the caliper and solve the rubbing issue.

Any input?

Nice. On the caliper it should have a number showing what size rotors its designed to fit.

When I was using CL500 calipers I had to run a couple of washers to make everything line up and not rub the rotor.

Where would that number be located? And did the washer keep the front side of the caliper from rubbing or the rear?

Ok, sorry for all the posts, trying to get info out to the masses!

These run a 312x28mm rotor vs our stock 300x28mm. I will test fit again with w211 rotors and report back when I have those in hand.

Well, a big part of these actually working is my wheel specs. I don't want that to go un-noted. I'm running very aggressive wheels AND a 25mm adapter. Without that combo, there would be no chance of running these.

There is also extensive inner well work to get these to fit.

And here is the big boy... 18x12 et -2. Yep, a 12 inch wide wheel with negative 2 offset. It's not a simple fit. The rear quarters are very thick and require a good bit of work.

Not bad at all, my toe and caster is at factory spec and at ride height I'm only running 4 degrees of camber. When I air out, it's much more but you can't drive aired out so it doesn't affect tire wear. I'm at roughly 20k miles on these tires and they are still in great condition. I can take a pic for you tomorrow if you'd like.

Those pics are much more than 4 degrees of camber, but I'm on air suspension and when I'm at ride height, I only am at 4 degrees.

To get the wheel fitment you want, you have to take into account wheel width and offset. Since offset of a wheel is the distance from the hub mounting surface to the center line of the wheel, you have to do "wheel math" to get things right. For example, an 18x9 et0 and 18x10 et13 will sit almost the exact same at the quarter panel but differently on the inner barrel.

An amazing resource is www.willtheyfit.com
Take some measurements of what you have now, plug in that info and the info of the new wheels you want and it'll calculate all the differences for you.

This is what 18x8 ET38 fits in the rear with a 15mm spacer and a drop.

Who knows, maybe my rear suspension does need springs/struts
Well, the 15mm spacer makes a 15mm difference. It spaces the wheel out another 15mm, hence the name. So an 18x8.5 et38 will effectively be an 18x8.5 et23

Yes, the areas that were smoothed down were to prevent any rubbing on the caliper.

My 2 cents.

Recently did brakes on my CLK500.

Front calipers are Brembo

Sorry for the delay, but I got it all on and working!

I am using OE w210 sized (300mmx28mm) rotors with this setup.
I also replaced the OE bleeders with new fast bleeder valves and got extended brake lines made to help with the mounting locations since the calipers had to be flipped from left to right to get them oriented correctly.

I had to shaved down the inner "ears" on the calipers and run 1/4" spaces between the bolts and hubs but here its:
