w5w side lights?

I just purchased a set of Phillips Vision plus H7 bulb from www.autolamps-online.com, wow, I received the package like a week after I ordered them. Pretty fast delivery from England! They also came with free set of blue vision side lights W5W. My questions is: Is that the bulb fits in w210 side mirror blinker lights only, is there anywhere on w210 body uses them? I replaced my headlight with the vision plus bulb, since one of them burned out, so I decide to replace both. I have to agree the vision plus is much brighter than the stock lights, worth the money!!

how to remove side blinker

Does any body know how to pop the cover off on the side blinker on the rearview mirror? I don't want to force it and damage them. I want to replace them with the blue vision side bulbs.

I might be mistaken but I believe that the lights on the side blinking mirrrors are LED. I haven't seen a way to open up the light housing once the mirror housing is removed...

Hey Kicker, were the Vision Plus still kinda yellowish? It is claimed to be quite white but I've read that they're better but still look very halogen. I'm very interested as it has a lighter blue tint so the reflection may not be as apparent during the day...is that correct?

The W5W wedge type bulbs are normally used on the BMW's and most jap cars' city lights and I understand also in the dash.....not sure if those are what's in our dashes tho'.. can anyone please confirm?

Yeap, Vision plus is still just a little yellowish, no blue tint at all. It just produce very bright white with a little yellowish mix, but nothing really compare to HIDs. But you would definetely can tell is not stock. it just bright.

Yeah, read it does give really good light. But I think I prefer a whiter or bluer light. Thanks for the confirmation bro.

They did if you have a C or CLK (209) I think they use those as city lights as well.

OEM USA version w210 has bumper side lights. I don't know about Asian Pacific & European Countries. Also if you have aftermarket bumper like Carlsson or some other high performance they won't have it either. see PIC below.

Not quite yet Bro! but you were close. These were older pictures. but It's probably hard to tell from 9 to 8" from the pictures though . But I do have more "comfortable" shoes now, 8" front and 9" back. will post pic. after mod. is done... getting a set of springs & shocks put on. Also I ordered pair of the clear bumper lens too, hopefully will be here soon.
