About a year ago, these wheels were going for about $1100 for the set, could have been a little more. It was the same dealer. I almost went for them. They are TUV approved and, as I recall, they were made in Germany. These are true 2-piece rims and are probably made well. I wanted a set of 17" staggered rims, a combo which is becoming more and more rare due to the popularity of +18" wheels.

If you want 17s, then this new price seems valid. I searched German websites for more info about the brand.

BTW - The same vendor did advertise a set of these rims in a staggered set, but I had already purchased my AT Italias from the Tirerack.

I am not sure if I still like these rims anymore, I liked the "monoblock" look, but the rim bolts look too big now.

how do you like the AT Italias? you have the riva, right? they have the rears on clearance now for $99 each at tire rack! but the fronts are about $250. still good though for a staggered setup. i don't mind same dimensions all around so i can rotate tires.

i'd feel better about alutec if tire rack offered them like they do the AT's.
