'98 E320 AC Refrigerant Level...

Greetings, folks. When the ambient temperature is hot and the system is required to run "full power," it throws "b1241/refrigerant fill level" code and occasional "b1232/Refrigerant Pressure Sensor (B12)" code. Of course, the AC starts to blow warm/hot at that point.

I refilled the system along with installing a new pressure sensor at the beginning of this summer. The AC has been working great until the temp hit over 100 later this summer. The AC system would work just fine once the code is cleared in the head unit until the ambient temp rise again.

My question is whether the system is over filled or under filled to cause it to quit with refrigerant level code. Since I solely relied on pressure, NOT the weight of the refrigerant, I am hoping that it is simply the fill level rather than something more involved.

I thought I'd give it one more try before I take it in to a specialist. All of your expertise is appreciated!!

Best is to do full troubleshooting reading the AC sensors once on cold car, once when AC should blast at full power.
Just on pressure, the full blast should give you high 20's bars, but practice shows that 18 is still enough.
