A/C Problem

Hello, been reading up on this however, wanted to post my numbers and get some opinions from the veterans. Thanks.

I have no error codes.

Diagnostics
1. 96
2. 94
3. 66
4. 64
5. 71
6. 199
7. 10
8. 116

I just finished driving the vehicle approximately 20 miles. Not blowing as cold as I think it could. I read that it may be #5 which should be around 41. Duo Valves, which I will take care of.

Some numbers slapped around will not tell much.
Do proper troubleshooting per http://www.mercedesmedic.com/ac-air-...le-codes-list/ and get back to us.

That's what i did, there is no slapping of numbers here, that was the results of the sensor values.

So after some reading, these are my sensor readings: the first being engine off, engine cold, the second being engine running and warmed up. There are no error codes listed.

1. 82, 80
2. 82, 82
3. 76, 73
4. 76, 75
5. 75, 64
6. 82, 96
7. 05, 14
8. 80, 143
The system blows cool air, not cold air. I run it on LO constantly and the vehicle barely cools down.

Temp Sensors look good, although 6 degree spread is on high side. Your refrigerant shows on low side, but do pressure test when system is in high demand.
Meaning car park on hot sun, enter the car, turn the ignition without starting the engine, scroll to #7, read it, start the engine and observe the pressure build.
It should go into 20's on hot day. If you have less, add a can of refrigerant.

Thanks for your reply, the highest pressure I have seen is 17, it's 85+ here. I'll put in a can and see how it goes.

You are being led around the may pole---7 should be at least 15 and 8 should be 232+---you either have a bad compressor or you need refrigerant---remember overfilling is just as bad as under filling---so do it correctly and read the volume specs on the control unit cover!
