squeaking driving me nuts!
When sitting in traffic, and letting it roll forward at idle speed, it makes a very faint squeak (rhythmic), sound like an old swing set that needs oil, but much quieter, only noticeable with a solid barrier beside me.
Now here is where it gets real tricky to diagnose...
Under normal acceleration, it gets loud, to the point it sounds like a flock of birds wailing away, and increases with wheel speed.
Hard acceleration, not a sound until the the car "catches up" to speed and starts the noise again.
Coasting with the foot off the gas pedal, no noise. Very, very light throttle to keep speed, little to no noise.
When the car is rolling in neutral, no noise.
I should note, the sound seems to be coming from the drivers side, but cant tell if its front or back. I checked the brakes to see maybe if the warning tab is touching, but it is not. It is definitely a rhythmic noise. Even at high speeds, it is not one continuous sound.
If anyone can help steer me in the right direction of where to look, that would be fantastic. This noise actually echoes between the houses when I drive down the street lol
