Which engine oil ?
Hello guys, I join to your forum from Poland. I have an E220 CDI , W210, 2001, mileage 171,000 km. The previous owner was adding 10w40 Liqui Moly engine oil, but I want to buy the original oil from Mercedes Service. Today I went to Mercedes service and they told me that, you need 229.51. I said, probably I need to buy 229.5 not 229.51 because it's for the cars with DPF, but mine does not have one. He said do not worry 229.51 is even better for the engine, no matter that you do not DPF. What do you think guys? Which one should I buy ..?
