Hunming noise at low speeds?
Hi everyone!
Started getting a faint humming droaning noise low speeds. Most noticeable when coasting between 1000 and 2000 RPMs. Don't think it's a wheel bearing, and you can only hear it inside the car. Impossible to hear it with a window down. Seems to correspond with engine RPM as opposed to speed. Any ideas? Any way to check the tranny fluid on these cars?

Thanks for the suggestion Plutoe!
Tom, it actually turned out to be a bad tranny mount that was completely worn. Replaced the mount and noise went away. It was inexpensive at my probate mechanic, only $150 for parts and labor.
Hope that helps.
