OM606 superturbo Manual transmission swap - HELP!
I'm in the process of building a 400+bhp OM606 E300 turbodiesel.
The car I have has the stock 5 speed automatic slushbox, but I'm going to need a manual transmission capable of handling 400bhp/500lbft+.
I've read around and can't find any definitive answers, what are my options and has anybody done this swap?
I know Luke at DieselPumpUK sells a BMW ZF5/6 adapter package, but those gearboxes seem to be difficult to get hold of here in the US.

Would a Crossfire transmission (NSG370) work? I'm not sure what they'll handle power wise so it might need to be gone through.
There's a guy by me that was building a W124 track car and putting a W210 E55 engine in it. He was going to use a Crossfire trans since he wanted a manual.

5-sp handles the AMG power, and proved itself to be one of the best transmission in history so why did you rule it out?
Than I know, those cars in Europe were available with manuals transmission, although rare.
400HP ? I hope you come back with pictures?

The NSG370 is quite strong, featuring a 272 ft. lbs. input torque capacity, as claimed by the manufacturer. Output torque limits are between 1100-1300 ft. lbs.,
