it won't be a drop in fit as their offsets are off a bit, as well as their bolt size and ball seat.
what would help, however, is if you provide all the specs for the wheel (stamped on the
back of the spokes)

Hey ray thanks for the help in the back of one wheel it had 81/2j17h2et30 and under that it has A17004012902 and the other wheel has 71/2jx17h2et32 and underneath that it has A1704012802 that is the ones I'm looking to purchase but don't know if they fit. I want to bring the car back to original tires because it was inherited by my daughter who doesn't have her license yet .

the factory specs on the w210 wheel / tire are.... huh? wait. your car is a 2005 and is not one which is covered under this (the w210, 1996-2002) forum. so you actually need to repost your request in the w211 forum. sorry, I missed that earlier

The offset should be ok. You may need to get custom lug bolts to make the wheels fit. I'm guessing the stock ones off of either of the cars won't be right for the application.
I had to get custom lug bolts when putting W211 wheels on my W210 and it was under $100 for the set. You just need to find out the specs you need. I have no clue what that would be when putting an SLK wheel on a W211.
You'd be better off just finding a set of wheels from a 2003-2009 E Class as they'll bolt right on. Consider getting a square setup as well so you can still rotate the tires.
What wheels are currently on the car? Why do you want to swap them?

I have staggered aftermarket 20inch in the back and 19's in the front. My mechanic just replaced the drums, bearings and pads and said i was better off replacing the wheels back to the factory set . I don't have them my dad bought this car off another party so its pretty tuff finding them. I just found a set of 2003 E500 17 inch on craigslist but my factory size should be 16 inch. Should I just purchase refurb Oem ? I just don't trust them there are so many companies out there. Can you recommend something? My Dad gave it to my daughter before he passed and I just want it to run save and good, it only has 58k miles. Still like new always garaged . Thanks
