I think dealer gave me wrong auto transmission fluid

Hoping someone can set the record straight. I went to the dealer to get a transmission filter, pan gasket, and ATF for my 2000 E55 AMG. The bottles they gave me say ATF 134 FE but I believe I need ATF 134. The fluid they gave me was blue but I thought the fluid should be read. If I'm correct in that they gave me the wrong fluid, it's really frustrating that you go to the dealership to get the right parts and they can't even get that right. Please see photo below.

Search.

ATF 134 FE has MB-approval 236.15 and is backwards compatible with any approved or previous 236.15. The FE is called for the 722.9 7-speed transmission manufactured in 2010 or later (possible exceptions). ATF 134 FE is not mixable with any non-236.15 fluid.

The 722.6 uses ATF 4134 with MB-approval 236.14. This is called for in the 5-speed and some early 7-speeds. Your car uses this stuff.

Take the ATF back, get a refund, and go purchase some Valvoline Max-Life Full Synthetic. You can purchase three gallons(!) for around $80. You say, "But Valvoline doesn't have the MB approval!". Yes, but Dodge Chrysler approves the use of this fluid in their cars. Why does that matter? Because Dodge Chrysler uses the 722.6 NAG1 transmission which is the same as that used in our Mercedes. The. Exact. Same. Transmission.

I work at a dealership (not MB) and people **** up sometimes. Did it occur to you that you should have gone in there knowing what you needed? You are just as much to blame as the parts guy that sold it to you.

I assumed that if I gave the year, make, model, and VIN of a vehicle, I could trust the dealer (who punches all the information into the MB parts database) to give me the right fluid for the job. I won't make that mistake again. I'm a little new to these vehicles. But now I'm all read up on 236.10, 236.12, 236.14, and 236.15. So lesson learned. Don't trust the dealer to give you the right parts.
