Hi,
I've got an engine from Mercedes w210 e300d on my boat, unfortunatelly it does not have diagnostic port.
Can I connect an obd2 socket to ecu so I can use regular obd2 scanner? If so does anybody has a wiring diagram?

the whole point with ODB is standardized pinouts
for the basic interrogation points. so this is a simple thing. however, for the more
customized, proprietary functions, you may need to investigate more to determine
their proprietary protocols used

I'm not speaking from experience based and your project's needs are unusual.
I would guess there are many more modules you'll need in addition to the naked
engine in order to set up a code compliant system
