Looks as tho you may get a few extra HP from this. It's a straight shot to the engine. I would not think much HP from this....My guess would be 2-5hp tops.

This is only a guess since I cannot really get a good look on the setup. This is only from what i see from the picture.

Who made this...I think I know what company it was but cannot remember the name.

Yes, the BMC CDA fouled my MAFS twice!

There is no Gruppe M intake application for the E430, the image posted is for the W210 E320...no doubt it's one of the sweetest CAI w/it's carbon kevlar funnel cover, expensive eye candy! My bro-in-law has it on his M5 inconjuction w/ AA sink drain CAI & relocate temp sensor...omggg it sounds AWESOME, but a close look at it's fitment too many gaps to suck in hot engine air.

e
the biggest problem is the intake snorkel next to the headlamp. Thats the restrictive bit. Still it looks good though.

According to mercedes performance in the UK a diesel w210 will show 20hp more at the dyno by using a cold air induction job. but they would say that...

anyways, and if i may ask, where did you get that, it looks fine and wharts the damage $$$.

According to R&D dyno & Evosport dynojet's I lost +20hp with short ram & CAI (AEM type) that I've experimented with, including thermotec wraps on the mandrel pipes...I much perfer to use the OEM unit.

Rennsport can assist with Gruppe M products.

2002 E320
Cost

I went to Gruppe M website it is about $850 & change + whatever S & H is. It looks cool, I just wish someone had some input on it.
