Engine undercarriage panneling
I've been poking around my '97 E200's Engine bay today and noticed I could see the floor underneath the car clearly. Is it normal?
I've checked EPC and I've got both of those:
I can confim I have both of those
Does the Oil Pan have a plastic cover that complements the first two?
Thanks folks!

It is soft cover for noise absorption.
Now if you have "belly pan" in mind, some W210 have 4 of them including transmission pan.

Parts ordered. Once they're here I'll take a photo and annotate it with the part numbers used, should be helpful for any W210 owner.

I was always wondering about part #17 on 2nd picture. I suppose to have it on 300DT per EPC, but never had it. What I figure - it is channel to cool alternator, but driving without it never had a problem even in desert temperatures.
Knowing the life- you will need "few" clips #26.
There is a reason why your cover is missing.

When you say engine covers you mean number 11 in the first picture? If yes then I beg to differ for the simple reason that the Diesel Section has the same part number as the gasoline engine and that mine came off an E 320 because the E 200 doesn't come with one by default. It's similar to the engine hood pad, 4 Cylinders didn't come with one but you could easily retrofit one to quiet things down.
For the Oil Pan Undershield (picture 2) the MB Dealership was adamant that the part was missing and honestly I would very much doubt MB would leave the oil pan hanging around with absolutely 0 protection.
