Can I drive without the emissions charcoal canister?

Hey folks, I'm in a bind and up against time so I'm breaking down my questions to one per post.

I've got my charcoal canister ripped out and a part left that has to be pulled as it's blocked. I don't know the parts name or number and I can't find it online at all.
I may need to drive to town for parts, can I wad plugs in the open lines and drive ok temp?

This is the part I'm sourcing and the old part picture is here too. Can't find it anywhere and was told it's called an evap check valve but there's nothing that comes up like that in a search anywhere.

This is a new part but I can't order it as I don't know what it's called or a number. Can't even source it in parts diagrams.

The hose line is blocked when I try blowing in it. I'm going to try pulling it tomorrow to see if I can take it apart and clean it.

Updated to inform everyone that no you cannot drive without the canister as you'd have to plug the lines to stop anything from getting into the system. And by doing that you'd create pressure within the gas tank.
