what the heck is Kleen wheel?
i was browsing online for parts. I have noticed several parts website listed something call Kleen wheel. What is that? It looks like a frisbee. Any purpose to it and if you do have one of those, where is it installed on?

They install on the inside of the wheel and keep brake dust from accumulating on the face of the wheel. They're really only useful if you have steel wheels w/ hubcaps, or some other kind of wheel that you can't see through because otherwise they look really ugly.

i actually kinda like kleen wheels on my black e430 with 5-hole oems.. better than the dust..i can see the objection on other color cars though..and never had brake probs on this or two other cars using them.

i had a set on an 89 e300 and 90sl for which they worked perfect and the style of wheel on those oldies....couldnt see them really at all. My uncle also had a set on a 97e320 that didnt look bad cuz of the wheel design.
