Pick up a cheap OBDII reader and the Torque app. It's a cheap setup and you can read basic codes that way.
OBDII reader on Amazon:
Torque (Android only as far as I know): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torque&hl=en_US

their occurrences, what lights or indicators are lit, the sounds you hear, etc.
What is the resting voltage of the car battery?
what is the voltage of the car battery when you attempt to crank the engine?
When you say it has power...what does that mean?
when did the car last operate?
did you make any changes just prior to the car being disabled?
at this point, given the sparse information you've provided, there is no way to provide a diagnosis
2) make sure you have a good battery, fluids topped up, etc
3) Generally always start by checking fuses - this goes for any vehicle troubleshooting. Many people have jumped ahead and replaced parts or done mechanics only to find the problem was 1 blown fuse somewhere.
