2003 e320cdi injection pump issue
Hello! First time poster here. Im in the UK, and ive got a question Im hoping someone can help answer.
ive got an '03 e320cdi touring. As most of you are aware, 2003 wagons were still W210s, even though all the other bodys had gone to the w211. From what ive read, my motor is different from 2002 e320cdis, but also different from the 2004 w211 e320cdi. So it seems that 2003 was the only year for my particular motor? Anyone have any data on that?
leads to my problem, Im fairly certain i need an injection pump, or at least a rebuild. Possibly (hopefully) just new fuel pipes and seals, but its got nearly 275k miles on it, so im planning on a new pump. Finding a used/reman pump seems to be very difficult. They are everywhere for the w211, and tje older w210s, but I cant seem to find one online for my particular application. Ive found new ones, but at around £400 ill probably have to scrap the car before i pay that much.
1. Is this the only year/model i can look for? Did my engine come in any other year/model?
2. Is the injection pump common/shared with any other year/model?
