2002 W210 E 320 4 matic
Tire advice please

My son is in college in Georgia and drives an '02 E320 4 matic. No snow. The worst weather is an occasional extremely heavy rain including hurricanes at times. He needs new tires. He mainly drives around town and some interstate.

I've narrowed my choice to Grand Touring All Season:

1. Goodyear Assurance Weatherready
2. Michelin Premier A/S.
3. Vredestein Quatrac 5.

Open to all opinions. Thanks in advance.

A gaggle of MB's
Goodyear MaxLife - one of the new gen "long life" tires - lot's of tread - sound wet road handling - literally could be the last set of tires you will ever need to buy for your son and his MB...

For lot of annual mileage - it is hard to beat tires at Costco. I used them for decades, but lately we drive less and the tires would age before wear.
I was big fan of Michelin, but lately looks like they outpriced themselves out of competition.
Still might be good deal on long run.
Read the topic by other member, who saved on tire purchase price and need to buy new tires after 7000 miles.
Combined with higher fuel consumption is not really saving.
Never had good luck to GY.
