1998 e320 sedan
Wink coil replacement

just ordered 6 bosch coils for my 1998 e320. do i have to disconnect the battery if i am careful ? btw, i got them for $220.00 AT apw with coupon. a steal !

I always recommend to disconnect the battery (neg terminal). It's a personal choice.
Make sure to work on a cold engine. Dont want to burn yourself.

It's a straight forward job - as long as you put the correct cylinder wire back in the correct connect... sounds stupid but I have seen more than one afternoon DIY frack up.....

Know how to remove top cover without lising rubber stops.... T30 torx .. I use small wire clippers for zip-tie removal .. few decent replacement zip ties.....this decent video will be quite helpful..
