Question re aftermarket speakers
Questions for those that have added aftermarket speakers:
Did you put the tweeter in the triangle in the door, or in the front dash area? If in the triangle, does it sound good? I have a 2002 with the Bose, which came with a coaxial speaker in the bottom of the door, and an empty triangle in the door. I am going to replace the speakers with a component set and am wondering where to best put the tweeter.
Did you add aftermarket amplifier? If so, how many channels, how much power, and is there a separate amplifier that comes standard in the car which is being replaced, or is there no separate amp to begin with? What would be the minimum size amp to buy to work well, given that I do not play music really loud.
