I have a 99 e320 with the srs light on. I bought an emulator, matched up wire colors, plugged in and the light is still on.
Fast forward a few months.
I bought an Autel 802 with the 38 pin adapter and I知 able to get into the modules but even with the emulator, I知 getting the codes for the child seat pad.
Heres a pic of the emulator I have, is it the correct one? It says W210 but 2000-2005.

People on this forum are notorious for saying things that are very trumpian------your best bet is to go back to the manufacturer for and answer, and if you get a russian or chinese answering service you have answered your own question.
However if your wonderful Autel is providing you faults,my advice is fix the faults and sell the emulator to some unsuspecting sap!
