a/c climate control
i have a 1996 e 320. with the ac on the drivers side vents blow air at or around the out side temp. the pass side blows cold(er) so the ac works the pressure is ok. is a flap stuck i tried the flap test but i am not sure what should be on or off. how do you get to the flaps?

I just had this drivers side hot problem fixed on mine.
They charged 3.3 hours labor, plus a seal ring, VL - FP Number 140-997011-45.
The commentary says:
Low side fitting O-ring seal leaking
A/C leak ck. 83-1585 .7. Coolong test low side 50psi, high side 300psi out of spec's should be 20-30psi/200/250psi 83-1234 .7. Recover 83-1780 .3.
Replace low side o-ring seal 83-0000 non. .6. charge system 83-1762 1.0hrs
Warranty work so I don't have the part or labor cost.

i assume a dealer did the work. i need to dye the system and see if the leak is in that location. the low side on mine is like 45-50 psi so the problem could be a leak. thanks for the respond i check it out
