The carbon does match well with the maple,,,funny thing,my new wood panels have less birdseye grain than what the rest has,,but thats what happens when you change a piece,different tree,so says MBenznl...Still like the look tho.

Knew it'll do the trick Steve, the pedals do liven up the area below the dash
Relatively cheap and easy mod to do. Most people say they improve grip/control but I haven't noted much difference - I forget I had them until I look down
007, sorry for hijacking your thread....again, my bad :p
The SLK/SL and CLK55 peddles are OEM so u probably can get them at the MB parts centres. Note the SLK one doesn't come with an E-brake (park brake) one cuz the SLK's have a hand brake but the SL ones do. Difference is, the SL ones have oval shaped rubber nipples as opposed to the SLK's round. I believe you can now get a full set with round ones. I was given the SL E-brake pedal so I now have a mismatched set but its not noticeable....same set up as E55Kev
