Brabus monoblocks iv for E320 w210
Hello mbworld, wondering if anyone out there can help me figure if I can get some 18inch brabus iv,'s on my 2002 w210 e320.it's listed as special edition came w 17inch wheels on 235 45 17 ,not 4matic.really liked the look I saw on another vehicle.trying to figure out if fitment is possible and if hubcentrick spacers will be needed and if lowering springs would be sufficient or a ksport coilover?included a pic below of how I would like it to sit but unsure if that's an e55 or 320 and if those are 18s or 20s?I read in another members post the best ride would be with 18inch wheels trying to keep that mercedes feel,if anyone has any advice I appreciate it!thanks...

Your fitment chart for w210s.
You will need to check if your wheel well lips need to be rolled or not, depending on the tire width you desire) You wish it to be lowered - Look into what you presently have installed for the spring pads (ie. #1 thru to, 4, if I recall correctly) You can look up into each spring perch and should be able to see or feel the # of pimples (bumps) on the underside of the spring pads. From there, you can determine if changing to a thinner spring pad will lower your ride to your desired height. If not, then you need to look at lowering springs (H&R or Eibach) Also..... Please update your user cp info with all the details AND try using the search button at the top right - plenty of discussions on your specific queries. ;) https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...ac0b34e012.png https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...0f469ad239.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...3b36c4d7af.png |
The car in your picture is running 18s with a slight drop. Lowering springs and possibly swapping spring pads will get you that low. Fitment will depend on how low you want to go and how wide of a tire you choose to run in the front.
I am on 18's with #1 spring pads in the front, #2 in the rear and vogtland springs https://live.staticflickr.com/1750/4...0eb13330_c.jpg |
illest is your car level or does it have butt sag or butt rake?

in the "after" picture you can clearly see the spacers installed. Use the fitment guide above, then measure/tune fitment later with spacers and longer bolts. Brabus wheels have high offset, which leaves quite a gap to be filled in the fenders.

This was my old E55 that was on some 19" Brabus wheels with H&R springs that had a couple of coils removed. No issues with rubbing.
Attachment 440254 Here is my current E320 with the springs from my E55 and 18" Monoblock wheels. Once again zero issues with rubbing. Both cars were running Bilstein sport shocks. Attachment 440255 |
@Tall Giraffe The rear is slightly higher than the front (as long as the trunk is empty)

Some people run 285 30 18 on E55's. Might be a tight fit without rolling the fenders. Read this
