Exclamation Vacuum leaks and limp mode help

hello!
I want to check my car for vacuum leaks, i have a smoke machine but i dont know where to start looking.

My car is acting a bit strange, the idle can go to around 1500rpm and then goes down to almost dying when i press on the brake, but it never dies but it goes really! low.

Once i had my car standing still on idle when i was outside around the car on the driveway, not touching the car at all, suddenly the idle goes up, i didnt check what rpm it was but it was prob around 1500rpm, i tought that was really weird because it had a nice idle before it went up...

So now i have bought a smoke machine to test for leaks, but i need help to where i should start looking, at what vacuum lines? other parts? or anything that can be related to a high idling situation.

I also have a problem whit the car going into limp mode, cuts of the rpm at around 3000 but no check engine light has ever come up. this happens after i step on gas to go fast, like when overtaking a car. it also cuts the rpm when i press on the clutch and rev but the limp mode goes away after i turn of the car and start it again.

i know about the MAF, i have tried 4 different ones. originals...no luck on that...

Save your smoke making machine for a birthday party----start with having a short test and post the fault codes----all else is a FUYA exercise!
